The Stanley Cup Finals completed last night with a winning best bet from me, the third day in a row that I’ve hit a winner. Now we can turn our attention to the baseball diamond, which has been very good to me through the first half of the season. For my best bet for Thursday, June 19th: MLB Predictions, we’re off to George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Florida, for some American League East action. Let’s go!

Baltimore Orioles vs Tampa Bay Rays
Start Time: 7:35 PM EST
While it’s not nearly as severe as the Athletics and their 13-23 home record in West Sacramento, but the Tampa Bay Rays also aren’t enjoying having to play in a minor league park this season. The Rays’ 24-21 home record is 19th best in the majors, but it’s slightly higher than the Rays’ home record last season at Tropicana Field, so there’s that.
But none of this really matters, because the Rays are still somehow one of the best teams in the majors, while the Baltimore Orioles most decidedly are not. And the O’s are only 15-22 on the road. Tampa Bay and starter Drew Rasmussen are the obvious pick tomorrow over Baltimore and “Uncle” Charlie Morton.
Tampa Bay on a very reasonable moneyline is my best bet for Thursday.
