MMA Same Game Parlay of the Week: UFC Atlanta
UFC Atlanta Bantamweight Fight: Malcolm Wellmaker vs Kris Mountinho
Start Time: 7:00pm EST (ESPN+)
You never like to look at a fight and see a -2500 moneyline. However, with this thrown together fight between Malcolm Wellmaker and the returning Kris Mountinho, that’s exactly what we have. Still, there are some ways to make money on this fight.
It’s pretty much expected that Wellmaker will take this fight with a KO. Wellmaker has won over half of his fights with his hands. Additionally, Moutinho, who was knocked out in both of his previous UFC fights, has lost four times by KO in his career. So that seems like a fairly certain outcome.
We can sweeten this deal by adding the significant strike line for Wellmaker. While Moutinho has been knocked out plenty before, he’s been able to take a number of shots before the one that sealed the deal. He ate 230 strikes in his first fight before it was waved off. Then he took 28 in his next on, which lasted only 127 seconds. The 30 significant strikes line should be well within reach and a great way to spruce this one up.
