We had a basketball-less Monday, with the NBA Finals not tipping off until Thursday and the WNBA stage dark to start the week as well. But the W is back on Tuesday with three games on the slate. Here are your WNBA predictions and preview for Tuesday, June 3rd.

Phoenix Mercury vs Minnesota Lynx

Start Time – 8:00 PM EST

The Minnesota Lynx remain among the ranks of the undefeated, as they and the defending champion New York Liberty both sit at 7-0 to start the season. But things might not be as rosy as they seem for the Lynx after you look under the hood.

The Lynx have the worst strength of schedule in the league, with a rating of -4.25 (the Liberty are second-worst, for what it’s worth). While the Phoenix Mercury will be without star Alyssa Thomas on Tuesday, I still think they cover. I have this game lined up as Minnesota -4.

Best Bet: Phoenix +11.5 (-108)

Dallas Wings vs Seattle Storm

Start Time – 9:30 PM EST

With only one win in their first seven games, the Dallas Wings sit at the bottom of the league’s standings, tied with the Connecticut Sun. And things aren’t going to get better with star rookie Paige Bueckers out of action for at least two games with a concussion.

While the Wings’ lone win this season was on the road, I don’t think they’ll grab road win #2 tomorrow in Seattle. My line is Seattle -11.
