Cleveland Guardians vs New York Yankees
Start Time: 7:05 PM EST
The visiting hitter in question would be the Cleveland Guardians’ Carlos Santana. The 16-year MLB vet is having a very good season, his best since his lone All-Star season in 2019. And he’s been especially hot lately, going 9-17 over the past week with a homer. He’s also riding an 11-game hitting streak into Yankee Stadium tomorrow night.
And the 39-year-old will see a friendly face on the mound starting for the New York Yankees tomorrow, Carlos Rodon. Rodon is having a tremendous start to the year, putting up some of the best numbers of his lengthy career. However, he won’t be happy seeing Santana tomorrow (or teammate Jose Ramirez, for that matter).
For Tuesday, Santana is the player with the most career hits against the starting pitcher he’ll be facing, managing 15 hits in 42 career at-bats off of Rodon. Since this is our first daily prop bet, we’ll ease into it with an easy one – Carlos Santana will get a hit on Tuesday.
