Baseball continues to be the game of choice for my daily best bets, with both the NBA and NHL Playoffs on a temporary hiatus. Plus, the diamond has been profitable for me lately, so no complaints on my end. For my best bet for Tuesday, June 3rd: MLB Predictions, we’re off to Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., for some National League action. Let’s go!
Best Bet For Tuesday (June 3rd): MLB Predictions
Chicago Cubs vs Washington Nationals
Start Time: 6:45 PM EST
The Chicago Cubs are a frequent target for my daily best bets because they continue to play like an elite team. Chicago’s 37-22 record has them second-best in the majors, behind only the surprising Detroit Tigers. However, the advanced stats like them even better, putting them at a league-best 1.6 runs per game better than the average team.
But most importantly for our bet for tomorrow, the Cubs are also the top road team in the majors with a 17-11 away record. And, lucky for them, the Washington Nationals stink at home, going 13-14 at Nationals Park, the ninth worst mark in the majors at home.
If that isn’t enough, Washington is trotting a starting pitcher out to the mound tomorrow who has a 5.69 ERA, Trevor Williams. All this, and we’re still getting the Cubs at a playable number.
The Chicago Cubs on the moneyline is my best bet for Tuesday.
