I whiffed on my best bet on Friday, but that’s not a shock because it was on the Florida Panthers and Toronto Maple Leafs game. I have yet to hit a play on that series. Florida Panthers vs Toronto Maple Leafs

The Toronto Maple Leafs will be really outdoing themselves in these playoffs if they lose tomorrow night. After winning Game 6 on the road as a big underdog (with their backup goalie in net), the Leafs are really putting their fans through it this season if they end up losing tomorrow night at home. Is this just a long con, or is this team “different” from previous iterations?
I’m betting they are different. Yep, I’ve fallen for it, like Charlie Brown thinking Lucy won’t pull the football away this time. But Toronto is a strong home team (their 6-1 loss in Game 5 notwithstanding), and goalie Joseph Woll is coming off a shutout performance last game.
Toronto as a home dog is too good to pass up, is what it boils down to. The Leafs on the moneyline is my best bet for Sunday. Sorry, Leafs fans.
