Winnipeg Jets vs Dallas Stars
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
What are we to make of this Winnipeg Jets vs Dallas Stars series? Winnipeg’s star goalie Connor Hellebuyck posted his second shutout of the series in Game 5, but was pedestrian (at best) in the other three games. Obviously, if he’s back in peak form and shutting out the Stars, the Jets are the pick. But I don’t think that can be counted on.
The Stars won both games in this series on their home ice, and Hellebuyck let in eight goals combined in the two games. I can’t trust him and the Jets on the road in Game 6. Dallas ends the series tomorrow night at home and will advance to face Edmonton in a rematch of last year’s conference finals, where the Stars went down in six games. Dallas on the moneyline is my best bet for Saturday.
