The Eastern Conference second-round series between the defending Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers and the perpetually playoff snakebitten Toronto Maple Leafs is up for grabs. With the series locked up at two games apiece, we’re down to a Best of Three series, with Toronto having the home ice advantage.
The Leafs won both games on their home ice in this series, and I think they hold serve tomorrow at the Scotiabank Arena. One of the league’s strongest home teams hosts a mediocre road team. Toronto on the money line as a dog is the first half of our winning parlay.
We’re pairing that up with the under on the game total. It’s set at 5.5 goals, and while Game 4 only saw the goal light turn on twice, the previous three games in this series have been over 5.5, and these are two teams that normally see six goals or more get scored in their games.
