Ok, so Connor Hellebuyck isn’t “back” as I had predicted he would be. My bad, as the kids say. However, I did have the Vegas Golden Knights as live road dogs two nights ago, and that hit, so I’m not a total fool (just a partial one). Vegas Golden Knights vs Edmonton Oilers

After dropping the first two games of this series – both on their home ice at the T-Mobile Arena – the Vegas Golden Knights needed a win in Game 3, and while it was close as every game in this series has been, mission accomplished for Vegas. Home ice advantage continues to be a myth in this series through three games.
And I think it’s going to extend through Game 4. The Edmonton Oilers will still be without their starting goalie for the playoffs, the injured Calvin Pickard, and backup Stuart Skinner has been letting in over five goals a game during the postseason (5.36 to be exact) and has a porous .817 save percentage. Ouch.
Look for the Golden Knights to knot the series up tomorrow night and show why they were a Stanley Cup favorite heading into the postseason. Then it’s back to the desert for Game 5.
