SGPN Parlay for Wednesday (May 7th): NHL Parlay
Florida Panthers vs Toronto Maple Leafs
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
The defending Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers were favored for Game 1 of this series despite playing on the road in Toronto (you can’t trust the Maple Leafs in the playoffs, after all). But they certainly didn’t look like the favorite in that game until the third period, after Toronto’s goalie Anthony Stolarz got stretchered out of the game with a head injury.
With backup Joseph Woll letting in three of the 20 shots directed his way in the Leafs’ net on Monday, I like the Panthers to take Game 2 and go home with the series tied. Florida on the moneyline is the first half of our winning parlay.
We’re coupling that with the over on the game total. This is the half of this parlay I hit for Game 1, as nine goals were scored. With Woll in net (you’d assume) tomorrow, and both of these squads regularly scoring over three goals a game, I think we’re getting over 5.5 goals again tomorrow night.
