The NHL Playoffs kick off tomorrow with two Western Conference Round 1 games, including two of the teams with the best chance (according to the odds) of winning the Stanley Cup in June. St. Louis Blues vs Winnipeg Jets
Start Time: 6:00 PM EST
The Winnipeg Jets, who posted a league-best 116 points this season, are one of those aforementioned teams with the best chance at hoisting the Cup. Their first-round opponent, the St. Louis Blues, got out of the gate slowly this season, replaced their coach, and made a drastic turnaround. They’ll be looking to hand the Jets their third straight first-round playoff exit.
But I expect the Jets to win tomorrow at home. My number for this game is Winnipeg -1.1, so the Jets on the moneyline is the first half of our winning parlay.
I’m going to pair that play up with a play on the puck total. I’m taking the under on 5.5 goals. Winnipeg has the league’s best goalie, Connor Hellebuyck, and two of the three Winnipeg vs St. Louis matchups this season saw fewer than six goals hit the back of the net.
