I underestimated the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday and my parlay paid the price for it. Note taken heading forward. Duke’s not in action tomorrow to mush my parlay, thankfully. Tennessee Volunteers vs Houston Cougars
Start Time: 2:20 PM EST
We kick things off in Indianapolis, as the #1 Houston Cougars face off against the #2 ranked Tennessee Volunteers (ranked third and fifth in the nation, respectively, by KenPom). And I think the Cougars will make their first Final Four since the days of Hakeem Olajuwon.
Houston has the best defense in the country and a better offense than the Volunteers. But the spread is similar to the one I calculated, so the Cougars on the moneyline will have to be the first half of the parlay.
Michigan State Spartans vs Auburn Tigers
Start Time: 5:05 PM EST
Now we’re off to Atlanta, for another #1 vs #2 matchup (#4 vs #7 nationally). And, once again, I’m going chalk (but this has been the chalkiest of NCAA Tournaments, so can you blame me?!).
However, I have this game lined up as Auburn -6.5, so let’s add the Tigers on the spread as the second half of our parlay.
