McNeese State Cowboys vs Purdue Boilermakers

The 12-seeded McNeese State Cowboys – champions of the Southland Conference – were the biggest Cinderella team to make it through to the Second Round, squeaking by Clemson by two points on Thursday. A very nice story for the 58th-best team in the nation, that is ending tomorrow.
The Purdue Boilermakers haven’t missed a beat despite Zach Edey graduating to the NBA this season. I have them as an 11-point favorite tomorrow.
Drake Bulldogs vs Texas Tech Raiders
Start Time: 6:10 PM EST
The Drake Bulldogs are a great story as well, a #11 seed spanking #6 Missouri in the First Round. But I’m afraid their chariot is going to get turned into a pumpkin tomorrow at the hands of the Texas Tech Raiders.
The Raiders have won six of their last seven games, and after crunching the numbers I have them as a 13.5-point favorite over the Bulldogs on Saturday night.
