Temple Owls vs South Florida Bulls
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
Neither the visiting Temple Owls nor the home team South Florida Bulls are having very good college basketball seasons, with the Owls coming in 128th in the nation based on advanced stats ranking, and the Bulls 189th. But we don’t need teams to be good to bet on them and win money.
So we’re putting our money on the visitors, the Owls, tomorrow night – the least bad of the two teams. Temple’s conventional numbers are pretty good – 14-8, 6-3 in the AAC, good for fourth in the conference as compared to South Florida’s 11-11, 4-5 marks. Plus, Temple has won two straight and five of their last seven games. The Owls also have a high-powered offense which should be able to take advantage of the Bulls’ porous defense.
After crunching the numbers I’ve come up with a line of Temple -2, so the Owls on the spread is my best bet for Thursday.
