I went 0-2 for the first time in almost two weeks to finish off January. I’m assuming I’m going to hit both of my plays tonight (Saturday), then hit another two on Sunday. That’s how I roll. Here is your NBA prediction and preview for Sunday, February 2nd.

Boston Celtics vs Philadelphia 76ers

Start Time – 6:00 PM EST

The books aren’t making it easy on me tomorrow – lots of spreads almost identical to my calculations. Let’s take a stab at the home dog Philadelphia 76ers tomorrow against the struggling Boston Celtics.

Philly has already beaten Boston once this season, which helps. And Tyrese Maxey is on a heater. Boston -9 is my line, so there’s a tiny bit of value on Philly on the spread. Let’s roll the dice.

Memphis Grizzlies vs Milwaukee Bucks

Start Time – 8:30 PM EST

Memphis star Ja Morant is doubtful to play tomorrow night in Milwaukee due to an injured shoulder, yet I’m still taking the Grizzlies on the spread in this game. Even though the Bucks are 16-7 at home and have won six straight at Fiserv Forum.

That’s how good of a team the Memphis Grizzlies are. Plus, they are 13-7 this season without Morant. Memphis -2.5 is my line, so we’ve got plenty of value on the Grizzlies’ side.
