Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Rams Preview and Predictions

Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Rams Preview and Predictions

Monday Night Football features a non-conference matchup between the Miami Dolphins and the Los Angeles Rams. Two teams that are trending in opposite directions at the moment. Can the Dolphins snap their losing streak or will the Rams continue their push in the NFC West division? A big matchup for both teams on Monday night. Below are my Dolphins at Rams Preview and Predictions.

As I mentioned above, both of these are trending in opposite directions. First, the Miami Dolphins are in the midst of a three-game losing streak and have lost six out of their last seven games. Last week, could have been a “dream-crushing” loss to the Buffalo Bills on a last-second field in a hard-fought division game. The hopes of making the playoffs for the Dolphins continue to diminish by the week.

Meanwhile, the Rams are finally healthy. Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua returned a few weeks ago and Kyren Williams has been the bellcow of the offense. The Rams remain competitive in the NFC West where every game matters. On the injury front, Tyreek Hill remains a true game-time decision for the Dolphins. Additionally, four other players remain questionable for the Dolphins.

The Rams do come into this game fairly healthy. However, they will be without offensive lineman Rob Havenstein who is out on Monday Night with an ankle injury.

Best Bets

The Miami Dolphins come into this game in a tough spot. In Week 9, they suffered a crushing loss to the Buffalo Bills in a game where the Dolphins led for most of the game. The Dolphins needed that game desperately to stay alive in the AFC Playoff picture. Now, the Dolphins have to fly across the country to California and play a Rams team that is currently playing good football.

Over the last 16 games, when the Dolphins are an underdog, they are 1-15 SU and 5-11 ATS. Additionally, over the last 10 games where the Dolphins are a road underdog, they are 1-9 SU. The Dolphins could also be without Tyreek Hill dealing with a foot injury. I like the spot here for the Rams in this game and will take them to win this game.

Best Bet: Rams -125

Player Prop Best Bet

De’Von Achane Anytime Touchdown -115

When Tua is under center for the Dolphins, Achane’s numbers are through the roof both in the passing game and the running game. Achane is a player who can get it done both on the ground and through the air. If Hill is indeed out tonight for the Dolphins I believe there will be more of a reliance on Achane. When Tua is the starting quarterback for the Dolphins this season, Achane has found the endzone in three out of the four games.
