If you didn’t know, last year I ran simulations on NCAA26 and used those results to place some bets. It was ridiculously successful. This year, I did the same thing with NCAA27. You can find those on my author page. However, why just limit this to the NCAA? Now I’m simulating a season on EA Sports Madden NFL 27 and making bets based on the outcomes! For this round of NFL Bets, let’s predict the Super Bowl winner, using Madden!
Madden-Based Bets: The NFL Super Bowl Champion According To Madden 27!
First, to set this up, I turned injuries off. We all know injuries are going to happen. However, they are so unpredictable, I didn’t want a computer determining which players would get injured. I also turned trading off. Originally keeping trades on, Deshaun Watson was getting passed around like your favorite bottle of whiskey.
With no injuries and no trades, it removed some uncontrollables. After simming a season, the playoffs, and the Super Bowl, let’s look at the top four teams and who ended up winning it all according to the game. The NFL is a crapshoot. Betting is a crapshoot. Why not have a couple of NFL futures bets based on Madden 27?
Top Four Teams
After one simulated season, the teams that made the AFC bracket were the Broncos, Bengals, Colts, Ravens, Chiefs, Bills, and Texans. The NFC teams were the Rams, Eagles, Seahawks, Bears, Lions, Falcons, and Cardinals. Obviously, most of those are pretty plausible outside of the Falcons and Cardinals.
The final four teams ended up being the Broncos (+2000), Bengals (+2000), Eagles (+1600), and Rams (+550). The Bengals have all the tools on offense and added some pieces on defense. However, the biggest concern is their offensive line and Joe Burrow’s health.
The Broncos are a young team that had a lot of success last year and won their division. In the offseason, they traded a number one pick to bring in Jaylen Waddle. The defense was very strong last year and retained a lot of the same players. Adding Waddle could help Bo Nix take the next step and help the team make the playoffs.
The Eagles aren’t too far removed from winning the Super Bowl. They’ll need to bounce back from last year. However, they still have a lot of great weapons and a head coach who has done it before in Nick Sirianni. Finally, the Rams were just one game away from making the Super Bowl last year. They added Myles Garrett in the offseason and are in prime position. These are the four teams to make your NFL Super Bowl bets on based on Madden 27.
The Super Bowl Winner
Normally, when making bets from a video game, we’d take multiple futures to follow the results. Therefore, I don’t hate the idea of placing a wager on all four of those teams. However, these two teams should give you a little more confidence. These NFL bets can have a little more confidence because, based on Madden 27, these are the ones that make the Super Bowl.
Those two teams are the Broncos and the Rams. I’ve been on the Rams to win the Super Bowl for multiple months now. Madden confirming that they made the Super Bowl made me feel better about my already placed NFL futures. After trading to get Trent McDuffie from the Chiefs, they also traded to get Myles Garrett. Getting to high-performing defensive players increases their chances to improve on last year, which was already really good.
I expect the Seahawks to regress a little, leaving room open for the Rams to take the number one seed. The offense is a high-powered offense behind Matt Stafford. He utilizes Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, and Kyren Williams. Sean McVay is a smart head coach who’s already won a Super Bowl.
The Broncos are also in prime position to improve. Their defense was their strength last year, even though the offense wasn’t bad either. Now adding Jaylen Waddle to play opposite Courtland Sutton, it should help Bo Nix make even bigger plays.
NFL Super Bowl Winner Bet Based On Madden 27
Both of these teams have a great chance of making the Super Bowl as well as winning it. However, there can only be one winner. Madden 27 had the Broncos winning the Super Bowl 24-20, defeating the Rams.
Can Bo Nix and company get it done and cash in our +2000 ticket? They have all the talent to do so. Madden thinks, on paper, they can run the table in the playoffs and get it done.
