We already had our Thanksgiving up here in Canada, but I’m still thankful for the Jacksonville State Gamecocks covering the 20.5-point spread on Wednesday and getting me a much-needed win. The 55 straight days of football best bets rolls on. For my best bet for Friday, October 25th: College Football Predictions, we’re zeroing in on some late night (in my timezone at least) Big Ten action between two of the conference’s bottom feeders this season.

Rutgers Scarlet Knights vs USC Trojans
Start Time – 11:00 PM EST
After starting the preseason ranked #23, the USC Trojans saw their spot in the polls get as high as #11 before the bottom completely fell out on their season. They now are unranked with a 3-4 record (1-4 in Big Ten play). Yet, they are still my best bet for tomorrow even though we have to lay double-digit points.
USC on the spread isn’t an SGPN team ride, but we only have one dissenter among our ranks, so that’s solid enough for me. It helps that USC’s opponent tomorrow night, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, are pretty miserable as well, with only one conference win too. USC has also played one of the strongest schedules in the nation this season, and are 2-1 at home (Rutgers are 1-1 on the road this season).
