I actually lost a football best bet on Wednesday night – what a strange feeling. But the good thing about 55 straight days of football best bets is another day brings another chance to win a bet. Oregon Ducks vs Purdue Boilermakers
Start Time – 8:00 PM EST
Maybe “fading” is the wrong term here – I’m not crazy and saying that the 1-5 Purdue Boilermakers are going to beat the #2 ranked, 6-0 Oregon Ducks. However, I do think the 29 points you have to lay on Oregon to win is too high of a spread. So, we’re going with Purdue +29 as our college football best bet for tomorrow.
How do I know this is the best play to make? It’s almost a total team ride here at Team SGPN, so that’s more than enough reason to tag along right there. Plus, Purdue lost by one point in overtime to another ranked team – Illinois – in their last game, the first with quarterback Ryan Browne taking the snaps. The second-year player threw for three touchdowns as the Boilermakers almost upset the Illini on their home turf. Back home in West Lafayette, I think the Boilermakers can keep it close.
