Pittsburgh Steelers at Indianapolis Colts Preview and Predictions

I know its early, but the Steelers are in a share for the top spot in the AFC. What are the season-long Steelers Colts predictions? Do either of these teams have the firepower to make a deep postseason run? Below, we will take a look at the Steelers Colts preview and add a few best bets.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Indianapolis Colts Preview and Predictions

Justin Fields is 3-0. Heading into the season, nobody would have thought that. Going deeper into that, nobody would have thought that he would even be playing! By no means is he lighting the world on fire, but he is clearly doing enough to be a serviceable NFL quarterback. What really takes this team to the next level is their defense. In 2024, that is a rare thing. TJ Watt and Co. are truly one of the most feared defenses in the league and have the ability to keep them in any game.

The Colts have been up and down to start the season. I am in the camp that Anthony Richardson will not be a top 16 NFL quarterback on a yearly basis in his career. Can he make massive throws and throw up a really fun highlight from time to time, of course? Is he the best option to lead an NFL team to success? No. He is going to have his hands full with this Steelers pass rush all game long. The Colts need to have a very unique game plan if they want to find success here.

Under 39.5

Last week, the Steelers and Chargers just barely stayed under the total. This week, we are getting a few more points and I believe we will be in for another sweaty under cash. Look for Indi to keep the ball on the ground to avoid the Steelers pass rush. This will keep the clock moving. On the other hand, the Colts have really struggled against the run. The Steelers will pound the rock all game, which will keep the clock rolling.

Najee Harris Anytime touchdown

Harris is going to be the the man to get the ball inside the ten against this week’s Colts front seven. The big man will be able to leap or fall into the end zone this week. I can see him scoring multiple touchdowns here.
