Monday Night Football is here and we get to see Aaron Rodgers in prime time again. Let’s hope it goes a tad differently than it went last season. The defending NFC Champions are back for another season with expectations to get back to the Super Bowl. Seeing Aaron Rodgers name as QB1 on the Jets depth chart still feels odd to us. We have not seen him play a full game in a very long time and we do not entirely know how well he will play. This week will be a great barometer for where his game is at against this 49ers defense.

On both sides of the ball, I do believe San Fran will take a step back, but the defense is still the pride and joy of their team and will give the Jets a great test.
On the other side of the ball, Brock Purdy has some questions to answer! He has been an elite game manager in his career, which can only last for so long in my opinion. When real pressure is in his face and his checkdowns are not around, we are not 100% sure that Purdy is the guy!

Both of these offenses are going to have their hands full with pretty solid defenses on the other side. If Aaron Rodgers comes out of the gates really slow and sloppy, no one can be that shocked. On the other hand, San Fran loves to pound the rock and run the clock. Whether they are playing well or poorly, the clock will tick when the 49ers are on offense. I believe we will see a fairly boring Monday Night Football showing and this New York Jets vs San Francisco 49ers game will soar under the total.
