Frances Tiafoe vs Ben Shelton

Start Time – 2:00 PM EST

We’re starting to get into the good matchups now that we’ve reached the third round of the US Open, with #13 Ben Shelton battling #20 Frances Tiafoe tomorrow in Arthur Ashe Stadium. The two Americans also met last year in New York, with Shelton winning their quarter-final match.

I’m picking him to win this year as well. Tiafoe has yet to beat Shelton in two tries and has taken almost an hour longer than Shelton to dispatch his opponents at this year’s tournament, and Shelton is also five years younger, so you’d think he’d have fresher legs.
