With the NBA and the NHL done for the year, and football not started yet, we’ve officially entered the dog days of summer. So I’ll lean into my new favorite sports league to make plays on, the WNBA. For my best bet for Tuesday (June 25th): WNBA Predictions, we’re hitting up the 2024 WNBA Commissioner’s Cup finals.

Best Bet For Tuesday (June 25th): Predictions

Minnesota Lynx vs New York Liberty

Start Time – 8:00 PM EST

The New York Liberty will look to repeat as Commissioner’s Cup champion (the WNBA’s in-season tournament) by defeating the top team from the Western Conference, the Minnesota Lynx. While this is technically a home game for the Liberty, a scheduling snafu has them playing in the UBS Arena, where they’ve never played.

Minnesota probably has value on the moneyline and/or the spread, considering they smoked New York when they played earlier this season (plus New York won’t really have a home-court advantage). But I’m a sucker for a game total play, and this game screams over based on both teams’ play over their past five games as well as their season-scoring averages.
