The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for June 1

Well, degens. For every forward step The Quick Pick takes, there is also an unfortunate step backward. Friday night’s entry went one out of two and was just close enough to give us a taste of the good life. But to quote an infamous, fictitious bowler, “It’s strikes and gutters.” Luckily, we get a chance to go again here on Saturday night. The Panthers head home for Game 6 and have a chance to seal the Rangers’ fate. It’s that time again. So, let’s get right back into the kitchen and whip up a quick two-pack snack. Here are today’s two best NHL Underdog Fantasy Picks for June 1.

The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for June 1

Carter Verhaeghe Higher Than 0.5 Points

Tonight is the night for the Florida Panthers to win and get themselves back into the Stanley Cup Finals. It will for sure be a gritty and hard-fought game, but that’s something the Panthers have proven effective at. We’ve snagged our value-hunting glasses and have located a gem of a player with our first NHL Underdog entry tonight. He’s the one the Panthers and their fans call “Swaggy” Verhaeghe, and it’s a point we’re looking for.

Here in the playoffs, Verhaeghe has been rather exceptional. To prove the previous sentence, allow me to add this fact. In 16 post-season games thus far, Carter has tallied nine goals and eight assists. The man is on fire, and tonight, his team will need one more exceptional performance. Verhaeghe is in form, and I find it hard to imagine a scenario tonight where he doesn’t have at least a few good opportunities.

So, let’s go ahead and take Carter Verhaeghe Higher Than 0.5 Points against the New York Rangers.

Vincent Trocheck Higher Than 0.5 Points

On the other side of the benches, it is now do-or-die time for the New York Rangers. They come into Game 6 tonight, having suffered what may be a fatal blow in Game 5. But Shesterkin still looks good between the pipes. And, our value hunting glasses are locked in on Rangers center Vincent Trocheck.

The former Panther has been on an absolute tear in the post-season. Vinny T has 19 points across 15 games and comes into Game 6 with his team in need. Here in this series against the Panthers, Trocheck has tallied two goals and three assists. The point tonight is all we’ll look to snag, and Trocheck has to pull through. Let’s go ahead and nab that Higher Than 0.5 Points on Vincent Trocheck and cash this thing!
