Roope Hintz Higher Than 0.5 Points
To quote a certain Curb Your Enthusiasm star, the Dallas Stars have to be feeling pretty, pretty, pretty good. In Game 3, they erased a 2-0 first period deficit and won 5-3. If they were to steal another win in Edmonton tonight, surely the Oilers would be on the ropes. We have put on the value hunting glasses and spotted Finnish winger Roope Hintz.
Hintz returned from an injury and found his stride immediately in Game 3. He tallied two assists and put two shots on the Oilers’ net. Through 12 playoff games, Hintz has managed just 8 points.
However, he was quite clearly battling and playing through an injury. In the regular season, Hintz logged three points in three games against the Oilers. So, we’re looking for a recharged Hintz on Wednesday night. Let’s lock in Roope Hintz to go Higher Than 0.5 Points on Edmonton’s ice in Game 4.
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins Higher Than 0.5 Points
The Edmonton Oilers are in dire need of a win on Wednesday night. Especially after the way they collapsed, almost instantly, in Game 3. But the Oilers are no strangers to stringing together consecutive wins. If you recall, they happened to go on a 16-game winning streak in the regular season. For our NHL Underdog two-pack snack purposes, we’re turning a sharp eye to British Columbia native Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.
Nugent-Hopkins might be in a small two-game skid, but the talent and points are lurking in the tall grass. Prior to these last two playoff games, Ryan logged six points across three games. He’s a former number one overall and he’s got the complimentary ability that guys like Leon and Connor need.
Tonight, we just need a measly little point. It’s a nice puck deflection and a silky smooth pass. Something. Anything. Let’s trust the read and take Ryan Nugent-Hopkins to go Higher Than 0.5 Points on home ice in Game 4.
