Jason Robertson Higher Than 0.5 Assists
The Dallas Stars are coming off a longer layover than the Edmonton Oilers, but they’ll have home ice advantage. They took seven games to dust off the Golden Knights and another six to defeat the Avalanche. Thursday night, they’ll begin a series with Edmonton that may very well go the seven-game distance. But for the purposes of this banger, let’s go ahead and take a good hard look at American winger Jason Robertson.
The 24-year-old California native put together a solid 80-point regular season. Of those 80 points, 51 were tallied by way of the assist. And in the Stanley Cup playoffs, Robertson has accrued nine assists in 13 games. For some reason, he really enjoys Game 1’s in a series, as he has logged points in both thus far.
Tonight, we’ll need the proverbial apple from Jason and it should be there for the picking. Let’s go ahead and press Higher Than 0.5 Assists for Jason Robertson in Game 1 versus Edmonton.
Evan Bouchard Higher Than 0.5 Points
Well, folks, the Edmonton Oilers found a way to advance into the Western Conference Finals. They’ve certainly come a long way this year, specifically since firing Jay Woodcroft. The slate is now wiped clean, and on Thursday night, they’ll be in Dallas, where a new fight awaits. It’s only fitting that our second NHL Underdog entry is an Oilers player we rode the entire season to get here.
Defenseman Evan Bouchard put together a spectacular regular season, tallying 82 points in all. But, here in the Stanley Cup playoffs, he’s kicked it into another gear. And by that I mean Bouchard has accounted for 20 points in just 12 games.
So, Thursday night, asking for one single point from Evan seems a task even a mere mortal could complete. Let’s lock in Evan Bouchard Higher Than 0.5 Points and knock this Western Conference Finals banger in the hole.
