Purdue Boilermakers vs Connecticut Huskies

I played with fire on Sunday and faded Caitlin Clark and it paid off. Now I’m pushing my luck and fading the biggest star on the men’s side of the collegiate game, Zach Edey, for my best bet for Monday.

While there’s lots of debate over Edey’s value as an NBA player, there isn’t any over his impact on the college game. The Purdue big man averaged 24.2 ppg during the season and has upped that to 28.0 points for the NCAA tournament. Yet, I don’t like him scoring 25 or more against Connecticut in Monday’s championship game. Edey only managed 20 against North Carolina State in the semifinals, and the Huskies have one of the nation’s top defenses anchored by the 7-2 Donovan Clingan.
