2024 Women’s NCAA March Madness Tournament Final Four Underdog Fantasy Picks
The Women’s Final Four will tip off on Friday, April 5th at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN with the undefeated South Carolina Gamecocks taking on the North Carolina State Wolfpack. After that, all eyes will be on the nightcap.
Two of the biggest stars in Women’s basketball will go head to head as Caitlin Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes take on Paige Bueckers’ UConn Huskies around 9:30 p.m. ET also on ESPN.
Aziaha James Higher Than 26.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
The 5-foot-8 junior guard for the North Carolina State Wolfpack (3) has been a woman on a mission, leading her team to the Final Four. With wins over Tennessee (6), Stanford (2), and Texas (1), it’s been a tough road for the Wolfpack, but it’s prepared them for this matchup against the undefeated South Carolina Gamecocks.
In all three NCAA March Madness Tournament games against top opponents, Aziaha has cleared this number. Against Texas and Stanford, she hit this number in total points alone. Against Tennessee, she scored just 22 points, but seven assists easily put her over this combined total as well. She’s either going to be scoring or distributing on Friday night.
Kamilla Cardso Higher Than 3.5 1st Quarter Points
The list of career achievements for this 6-foot-7 South Carolina center is endless. The 2022 national champion and 2024 WBCA Defensive Player of the Year has been a key piece in this 36-0 team.
Getting in on first-quarter points is a fun, different way to sweat out these Underdog Fantasy picks. At 3.5 points, all you need is two first-quarter buckets, and you can check this one off.
Against the Oregon State Beavers Kamilla took her first shot attempt just 15 seconds into the game, a promising start if you’ve got this number. Against the Indiana Hoosiers, Cardso had four points just 1:19 seconds into the game.
Then, against North Carolina, it only took her 2:34 into the game before her second shot attempt, and 3:49 into the game, she had four points. She’ll get chances down low early and she’s a great offensive rebounder, I think this is the best way to get in on Cardso in this game.
Paige Bueckers Higher Than 27.5 Points
As I wrote in my Women’s Final Four Picks Article, I think this game is going to be an old-fashioned duel. Caitlin Clark is going to bring her A-game, and Paige Bueckers is going to match her almost play-for-play.
In three of the four NCAA Tournament games, Bueckers has already scored more than 27.5 points, with the only exception being her 24-point performance against Duke. Big game players show up in big games, and the 2021 AP Player of the Year is sure to do just that.
Caitlin Clark Higher Than 33.5 Points
How can you not play this one? The all-time leading scorer in NCAA Basketball history (Men’s or Women’s) is taking on Paige Bueckers and the UConn Huskies with a return trip to the NCAA March Madness Tournament championship game on the line. Talk about big players showing up in big games.
Nine three-pointers against LSU as she dropped 41 points in the Elite Eight. Against the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the BIG10 championship game, Clark scored 34 while still adding seven rebounds and 12 assists.
Bet the over in this game. Play Paige and Caitlin higher than’s on Underdog Fantasy, get the popcorn popping, and sit back and enjoy what should be one hell of a show.
