College Baseball Picks March 30th
All Bets Are To Win 1 Unit
2:00 PM -160 Maryland vs. Michigan +124
PROBABLE PITCHERS
Maryland: Logan Koester SR. RHP (4-1, 2.72 ERA, 19 K, 11 BB, 36.1 IP, 4.98 SIERA)
Michigan: Jacob Denner SR. LHP (1-3, 6.66 ERA, 21 K, 11 BB, 25.2 IP, 4.51 SIERA)
During Friday’s tilt, Michigan held an 8-6 lead in the 9th inning and lost the game. The Wolverines exhausted some of their better bullpen options while trying to preserve the lead and win. Ultimately, the Maryland program’s prestige and experience prevailed. The Terps have not lost a Big Ten conference series since the 2021 season.
Michigan’s best chances to win are during the first and third games. The first one is because of their hopeful freshman stud Dylan Vigue, and the third is because of their most experienced arm, Mitch Voit, who also plays the field and hits in the first two games. Head Coach Tracy SMith’s squad is just 2-5 on Saturdays this season. Maryland’s offense should have some fun in Game 2 and secure the series victory.

2:00 ET +100 South Carolina vs. Alabama -130
PROBABLE PITCHERS
South Carolina: Tyler Pitzer FR RHP (4-0, 0.48 ERA, 29 K, 7 BB, 18.2 IP, 1.75 SIERA)
Alabama: Greg Farone SR LHP (3-0, 2.49 ERA, 28 K, 5 BB, 25.1 IP, 2.63 SIERA)
This is mainly a spot bet. I don’t believe South Carolina will be swept here. Alabama murdered the Gamecocks on Saturday, so Head Coach Mark Kingston was able to throw off and mentally prepare for Game 3.
Although Pitzer hasn’t started many games in the SEC, he has had a solid campaign so far. Additionally, the Gamecocks’ lineup full of right-handed boppers gets to see the change of pace from the left-handed side. Lastly, Sewell-Thomas Stadium won’t be as full on Saturday when most of the fanbase will be getting ready to endure the basketball team’s Elite Eight game.
+100 South Carolina ML (DraftKings)
