Thursday Night Football is here, and we have just one matchup rather than the usual multi-game slate. It has been a solid week of MACtion thus far, but it is time to take a look at some ACC action for tonight. It’s a fairly mediocre game, to be honest, but there is always money to be made. Thursday Night Football, let’s ride.

Week 12 Thursday Night College Football Picks
Boston College (46.5) at Pittsburgh -3
It’s a really ugly and weird matchup here. The 2-8 Panthers team is favored over the six-win Eagles team. I understand that this game is in Pittsburgh, but I still did not expect to see a line like that.
Boston College has somewhat figured it out after a really bad start, while Pitt has been downright awful all season long. Boston College has broken the six-win barrier, which means they are eligible for a bowl game, so I do not see any extra motivation needed in this one. Pitt is all but ready to get on with 2024, and I am sure they will play some guys who have not played much this season.
All in all, I am expecting an ugly, sluggish game here. Neither of these teams has the ability to get up and down the field at a fast pace. The Boston College defense has the best edge of any unit in this matchup, but it is not enough for me to go with a side. In a slow game like this, I’ll take my chances with playing the under at a low number.
The Pick: Under 46.5
