Another week of MACtion to get Tuesday Night Football going. Toledo and Bowling Green is the premiere matchup of the night. The two can rematch in a few weeks in the MAC title game if dominoes fall that way. Besides that, the other two matchups should be close, which will provide for some excellent television this Tuesday Night.
Week 12 Tuesday Night College Football Picks
Toledo at Bowling Green
Toledo has their spot set in the MAC Title game. I doubt they will let up or rest any guys because they have the chance to run the table, which would be a historic feat. At 9-1 with a two-point loss at Illinois in week one, this is a historic season for the Rockets.
Bowling Green has found a new stride in the latter half of the year, and they now have a chance to knock off the conference’s best. They are one game back In the MAC East and have the head-to-head tiebreaker over the team in the top spot, Miami. The Falcons will throw everything at the Rockets in this contest. With rain in the forecast, expect things to get sloppy, and the Falcons will be in this one until the end.

Western Michigan at Northern Illinois
These two teams are going in opposite directions here. WMU has won two straight after a slow start to the season. NIU has lost two straight after a solid start to the season. On paper, Northern Illinois is the better team. They have a better defense and a more experienced quarterback. Throw in the home field, and NIU is the team to beat here.
Now, things have not gone according to plan for NIU of late, even though they have made sense “on paper.” At 4-6, they need to win out in order to become bowl-eligible. Western Michigan is in the exact same spot, but we will go with the better team in a two week bounce back spot.
