After only one game in the NHL on Wednesday, Thursday night’s 11-game slate is a sight for sore eyes. Only weak-minded degens will let Thursday Night Football distract them from the opportunities the NHL has to offer. Last night, our NHL Underdog entries were a hit, a push, and a miss, so we have work to do. I recommend packing a lunch and grabbing your things because it’s time to get back in the lab. Here are my four best NHL Underdog Fantasy Picks for October 26!

The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for October 26
Seth Jarvis Higher Than 0.5 Points
By Carolina Hurricane standards, the team is off to an inconsistent start. On Thursday night, they welcome Seattle into town searching for their first win in four games. A large part of the Hurricane plan appears to be 21-year-old center Seth Jarvis. He has put together four goals and three assists in the 2023 campaign. Additionally, he has notched five points across five career games against the Kraken. Give me liberty, or give me Seth…Jarvis, that is, to go Higher Than 0.5 Points.
Artturi Lehkonen Higher Than 2.5 Shots
The Colorado Avalanche have rattled off six straight wins to begin their 2023 season. They have also scored at least four goals in five of those six games. With so many weapons, it’s clear to even the most casual of viewers why this team is a favorite to hoist Lord Stanley’s Cup.
Mackinnon and Rantanen are the household names on the roster, but on Thursday night, we look to Arturri Lehkonen. He’s peppered the opposition with 25 shots on goal in their six games, 17 having come in road matchups. Thursday night in Pittsburgh, we trust in Finnish winger Artturi Lehkonen to go Higher Than 2.5 Shots.
Brayden Point Higher Than 0.5 Assists
A Batman villain once said, “Theatricality and deception are powerful agents to the uninitiated.” But for the initiated NHL fan, they see the same old Tampa Bay Lightning here in 2023. Get off to an average start, announce the inevitable Kucherov or Stamkos long-term injury, and then make a playoff run.
Meanwhile, Brayden Point should probably just change his last name to assist, having tallied eight in seven games this season. So grab the hammers from your toolboxes because the pitiful San Jose Sharks are in town. We’re pounding Higher Than 0.5 Assists for Brayden Point.
Artemi Panarin Higher Than 0.5 Assists
If you heeded my advice above, then you packed your lunch to build Thursday night’s NHL Underdog pick ‘em entry. What is a packed lunch without any bread? The “bread-man” Artemi Panarin has been on an absolute tear for the Rangers in 2023. He’s registered an assist in five of their six games and is riding a six-game point streak. Thursday night, he heads to Edmonton to face an Oilers team with some serious issues early on. Weigh the proverbial NHL Underdog pick ‘em anchor with Artemi Panarin Higher Than 0.5 Assists, and let’s nail this banger!
