Boston College Eagles
2022 Record: 3-9

Impact Players: Neto Okpala, DE
For our first bet, we will take Boston College, going over its win total of 5.5. The schedule is very soft – home against Northern Illinois and Holy Cross to start the year. Following this, home games against conference punching bags Virginia and Virginia Tech should give Boston College four easy wins. From there, the Eagles should be able to squeeze out two more wins to go over its total.
Bet: Boston College to go OVER its win total of 5.5.
Clemson Tigers
2022 Record: 11-3
2023 Win Total: 9.5
2023 Conference Odds: +200
Impact Players: Will Shipley, RB, and Cade Klubnick, QB
Clemson and Florida State are both in our preseason top 10. They stand out above the rest within the entire ACC. If we had to pick between the two at even money, it would be difficult. Luckily, we don’t have to – we’re getting some value here with Clemson at +200 compared to Florida State at +175. Clemson is the bet to take here.
Bet: Clemson to Win the ACC at +200.
Duke Blue Devils
2022 Record: 9-4
2023 Win Total: 6.5
2023 Conference Odds: +3700
Impact Players: Riley Leonard, QB
If UNC doesn’t win the Coastal Division, Duke has as much of a shot as anyone to take the crown away. Duke will play at UNC on November 11th and will be prepared to knock their rivals out of the top spot when the time comes. The +3700 odds feel like a great value bet here.
Bet: Duke to Win the ACC at +3700.
Florida State Seminoles
2022 Record: 10-3
2023 Win Total: 10

Impact Players: Jaheim Bell, TE, and Jordan Travis, QB
The Seminoles will travel to LSU for a monster week one opener against their SEC rivals. Last year, Florida State won 24-23 in a thriller. I don’t expect that to happen again this season. LSU is coming into 2023 locked and loaded and is full-steam ahead toward a College Football Playoff run. Florida State will win many games this year – but expect them to start 0-1 after this tilt in Baton Rogue.
Bet: LSU to Beat Florida State (-132) in the season opener.
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
2022 Record: 5-7
2023 Win Total: 4.5

Impact Players: Evan Dickens, RB
Georgia Tech has some tough matchups on its schedule this year. Trips to Ole Miss, Miami, and Clemson will be hard to win. Let’s write off the traditional year-end clash with Georgia too. Even so, there are some winnable matchups on the schedule. Home against Bowling Green and SC State and the trip to Virginia should be wins. Can they find two more wins for the rest of the season? They should be able to.
Bet: Georgia Tech OVER 4.5 Wins
Louisville Cardinals
2022 Record: 8-5

Impact Players: Jack Plummer, QB, and Ashton Gillotte, DE
Louisville’s soft schedule allows them to cruise past this 7.5 win total. The hardest game on the calendar is at home against Notre Dame on October 7th. Past that, it’s hard to pick out ANY automatic losses. Home games against Virginia, Virginia Tech, Murray State, and Boston College help to soften things up.
Bet: Louisville Cardinals OVER 7.5 wins.
Miami Hurricanes
2022 Record: 5-7
2023 Win Total: 7.5

UNC is the favorite to come out of the Coastal Division and play in the ACC Championship game. But what if Drake Maye gets hurt? The outlook of the division gets murky. Here is where the Hurricanes come in. Look for this talented Miami squad to push to make an appearance in the title game.
Bet: Miami Hurricanes to win the ACC at +2500.
NC State Wolfpack
2022 Record: 8-5
2023 Win Total: 6.5
2023 Conference Odds: +2000
Impact Players: Brennan Strong, QB
The schedule looks tough for the Wolfpack this season. Matchups against Notre Dame, Louisville, at Duke, and home against Clemson, Miami, and UNC will be tough contests. They should end up close to the 6.5 wins but shouldn’t be expected to go over.
Bet: NC State Wolfpack to go UNDER its 6.5 win total.
North Carolina Tarheels
2022 Record: 9-5
2023 Win Total: 8.5

Impact Players: Drake Maye, QB, and Devontez Walker, WR
Drake Maye is an incredible talent with a real shot to make a push for Heisman this year. Caleb Williams is the true frontrunner, but it is wide open after that. William’s injury history is no secret. The +1600 odds for a QB with NFL-caliber talent is a great ACC college football bet. Take this one, and don’t look back.
Bet: Drake Maye to Win the Heisman at +1500.
Pittsburgh Panthers
2022 Record: 9-4
2023 Win Total: 6.5

Impact Players: TJ Harvison, RB
This might be the most fun ACC college football bet to grab. One of the best September College Football games is “The Backyard Brawl,” – the yearly matchup between Pittsburgh and the West Virginia Mountaineers. Last year, Pittsburgh won an absolute slugfest, 38-31 at home. We expect them to do the same on the road this season – Pittsburgh is too good to lose this one.
Bet: Pittsburgh to WIN against West Virginia on September 16th (-117).
Syracuse Orange
2022 Record: 7-6
2023 Win Total: 6.5

Impact Players: Isaiah Johnson, DB
The Orange’s schedule doesn’t look pretty to start the season. Between September 16th and October 14th, they will play Perdue, Clemson, UNC, and Florida State. They could lose all four of those games. Asking Syracuse to get to seven wins this season is a tough ask. This is why we’re taking the under here.

Virginia Cavaliers
2022 Record: 3-7
2023 Win Total: 3.5
2023 Conference Odds: +20000
Impact Players: Jaden Gibson, WR
We’re only asking Virginia to win four games to get hit the over this season. Can they do it? They should be able to! Home against Virginia Tech, James Madison, and William and Mary should all be winnable for the Cavaliers. Past that – they only need to find one more win in 2023. They should be able to do just that, making this one of the easier ACC college football bets on our list.

Virginia Tech Hokies
2022 Record: 3-8
2023 Win Total: 4.5

Impact Players: Ali Jennings III, WR
Winning five games is a tough ask for the Hokies in 2023. This team only won 3 games last year. Only one of those wins came in the conference. Looking at the 2023 schedule – we only find two winnable games: on the road against Marshall and at home against Old Dominion. They’ll have to find three more to beat this win total – a very tall order for this team.
Bet: Virginia Tech to stay UNDER its win total of 4.5.
Wake Forest Demon Deacons
2022 Record: 8-5
2023 Win Total: 5.5

Impact Players: Jahmal Banks, WR
Wake Forest won’t surprise anyone this year with the +5000 conference odds. That said, there’s no reason they can’t get to 6 wins this season. The schedule has plenty of opportunities for wins, including games again Elon, Vanderbilt, and Old Dominion to start the year.
Bet: Wake Forest to go over its win total of 5.5.
