Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Sunday, May 21st
Yordan Alvarez O1.5 Total Bases (+100)
It’s no secret how good Yordan Alvarez is and what he means to this team. This lineup goes as he goes. We are getting even money on his total base prop, which is sitting at 1.5. I think the odds are very favorable for him.
Alvarez has gotten 2+ total bases in 10 of his last 14 games. He’s hitting .351 with a .297 ISO vs. RHP in the month of May. James Kaprielian is allowing LHB to hit .327 with a .385 ISO this season. I think this is a good spot for Yordan to keep it rolling and snag a few extra bases.
Riley Greene O1.5 Total Bases (+110)
I know this Tigers lineup isn’t the most appealing, but I do think we can take advantage of players. For example, I really like Riley Greene today against the Nationals. His hit, run, and RBI prop is sitting at -140, which tells you all you need to know about Greene’s production and what he’s been doing.
Jojo Gray is 7th in the league in hard-hit contact over the last two weeks. Greene has had a lot of hard contact the past few games and middle contact as well, which makes me think he’s going to get on base a lot today. Greene has hit his total base prop in four of his last five games, and I think it continues today against the Nationals.
