The second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs has been an exciting one, and it’ll conclude on Monday night with Game 7 between the Seattle Kraken and Dallas Stars. The Kraken took a 2-1 lead through three games before dropping the next two. Seattle then won Game 6 6-3 at home on Saturday night to force Game 7.

The Kraken have proven to be a tough out in these playoffs, already ousting the reigning Stanley Cup champion Colorado Avalanche in the first round. Seattle is once again not getting the respect it deserves after forcing another Game 7.
Odds of +160 for Seattle imply that the NHL’s newest team has just a 38.46% chance of winning Game 7. So the value lies here with the underdog, even if you think the Stars are the better team.
The Kraken have continued to defy the odds all season long. So why not one more time to advance to the Western Conference Final?

Goals have been flying off the shelves in this series, with the Kraken outscoring the Stars 25-24 through six games. That’s right, there have been 49 goals — over eight per game — in this series.
The oddsmakers have at least moved this total up to six goals after an easy Over 5.5 in the first six games. Still, you have to hammer the over in Game 7.
You could also consider an alternate total in Game 7. There were a total of nine goals in four of the six games so far in this series.

Pavelski missed most of the first round after suffering an injury in Game 1. However, he returned with a bang for the second round with a four-goal effort to open the series against the Kraken.
The veteran forward is now up to eight goals through this series’ six games and is riding a three-game goal streak heading into Game 7. So hop on these odds for Pavelski to keep that train rolling.
Jordan Eberle to score (+330 via FanDuel)
Speaking of veteran forwards who can score, Eberle is a great option for the Kraken. After putting up 20 goals in the regular season — and just one goal in the first round –, the winger has five goals in six games against Dallas. He scored twice in Game 6 and has at least one goal in four of the six games this series.
These are great odds for a first-line winger to keep up his hot stretch.
