NHL Showdown Daily Fantasy Lineup for Kraken vs. Stars Game 7
CPT – Joe Pavelski – RW – DAL ($13.8K)
Pavelski has been the Stars’ engine since returning from injury for this series. He had all four Dallas goals in Game 1 and now has nine points (eight goals, one assist) and 18 shots on goal in the series.
The veteran forward had 58.9 points in Game 1 and has hit the double-digit mark in all but one contest since then. The Stars’ top line is their best source of offense, and Pavelski is the cheapest option to captain.
FLEX – Roope Hintz – C – DAL ($10.6K)
Hintz centers the top line and is a great stacking option with Pavelski. He has 18 points (8 G, 10 A) in 12 playoff games, including six points (3 G, 3 A) against the Kraken.
The top-line center was held off the scoresheet last game but still managed four shots on goal for a decent fantasy floor. Hintz should hit the double-digit mark in a desperate Game 7 with the potential for even more.
FLEX – Jason Robertson – LW – DAL ($10K)
Robertson was tremendous in the regular season, with 109 points (46 goals) in 82 games. However, he’s been a bit of a letdown in the playoffs, with just 12 points (two goals) in 12 games.
The good news is that the top-line winger finishes out our stack and, more importantly, is riding a three-game point streak. Robertson also had a few great scoring chances in Game 6 that he was unable to finish.
FLEX – Jordan Eberle – RW – SEA ($7.2K)
If you checked out the betting preview for this game, then you know that Eberle has been a weapon for the Kraken recently. He had three points (two goals) in Game 6 for a total of 30.8 fantasy points.
Eberle now has five goals and three assists for eight points in this six-game series. He plays on the top line and gives us some exposure to the Kraken’s second power-play unit.
FLEX – Mason Marchment – LW – DAL ($4.8K)
Marchment has flown under the radar a bit, and his price has actually gone down from $5.8K earlier in this series to $5.4K, then $5.2K, and now finally at $4.8K. The second-line winger has goals in two of the last three games and scored in the Stars’ final two games against the Wild as well.
There isn’t a ton of upside here, but once you get below the $5K mark, it’s slim pickings. On the other hand, Marchment could very well score a goal to get into double digits.
FLEX – Tye Kartye – LW – SEA ($3.4K)
Kartye has come out of nowhere to be a key contributor to the Kraken. The rookie is playing on the top line and making the most of it.
The first-line winger stacks with Eberle on the top line and gets time on the first power-play unit as well. He scored in Game 6 and could find a greasy one on Monday night.
