For those of you who are new to the NBA DFS flowchart, make sure to go read my introduction article for a more in-depth explanation.
Today is a fun 6-game NBA slate, with a couple of key spots to target. I really like the Charlotte/Dallas game because while Luka Doncic is a clear-cut stud on this slate, there is a ton of value in the big men. One of the most profitable positions to target last season was big men versus Charlotte, and *checks notes* the Hornets did absolutely nothing to change that this offseason. Now with Cody Zeller out for the foreseeable future, this should once again prove to be a plus spot to target on most slates. Maxi Kleber is getting some serious minutes so far this season, and is far too underpriced at $3600 today. On the other side of the ball, PJ Washington should go to town against Dorian Finney-Smith and his questionable defense.
Another game I am targeting for NBA DFS picks is the Miami/Milwaukee game. Yes that’s right, the game that ended up in a 50 point blowout last night. A lot of people should see the result from yesterday, and decide to completely fade this game which is why it is enticing to me. We want to be jumping at spots where the field is shying away. I would expect this game to be a lot closer tonight, and with Jimmy Butler already ruled out and the potential for Giannis Antetokounmpo to sit on the 2nd night of a back-to-back there should be plenty of value. I will note that if Giannis sits, Khris Middleton is no longer a leverage play, however would elevate to one of the best plays on the whole slate. Good luck today!
