Football is back and boy was week one a ton of fun. Fortunately, if you listened to some of our advice you probably did pretty well in your leagues, assuming you stayed up on injury news. The one problem that no one tells you about when you start writing about fantasy football, all those friends and family who support you are using your advice. So when you go into your waiver wire and try to scoop up one of your deep targets, you get poached by $1 cause they know your plan. Anyways, your Week 2 Rankings are here and ready to help you dominate your matchup.
Quick Rankings Notes
Chris Godwin is in the concussion protocol. If he is out, that will most likely mean an increased role for Scotty Miller on Sunday. *Sunday Update: Godwin is now OUT. Pump up Miller and consider Justin Watson in super-deep leagues.
Phillip Lindsay is battling turf toe that may hold him out several weeks. Royce Freeman may see a larger role if Lindsay misses time. However, all signs point to Melvin Gordon taking on a much larger workload.
George Kittle has a knee injury and may be limited Sunday against the Jets. This may open things up for the other 49ers pass catchers against a soft Jets pass defense. Jordan Reed will be his immediate replacement, but who knows where the targets will go with Deebo Samuel still out and Brandon Aiyuk banged up still. *Sunday Update: Kuttle is OUT. Jordan Reed figures to fill in at tight end.
We will update these rankings as more injuries and news comes out during the leadup to Week 2. And be sure to check out our other Fantasy Football and NFL Betting Columns as well!
