NFL Conference Odds: Niners, Chiefs are Favorites

The San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs squared off in Super Bowl LIV back in February, and those two teams are atop the odds to win their respective conferences in the season ahead on the latest betting lines at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

The Niners came up short in that championship matchup with the Chiefs, but they’re still the +450 favorite at betting sites to be the NFC conference champion for the second consecutive season. That puts them just slightly ahead of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on that board, as their odds have improved substantially since they brought quarterback Tom Brady into the fold. The Bucs are the +500 second favorites on the odds to win the NFC championship.

The New Orleans Saints are then a step back at +550 on the NFC title odds, with the Dallas Cowboys the only other team in the conference under 10/1 to claim that championship at +700. The Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Seattle Seahawks all hold down +1100 odds, with the Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons both pegged at +1500 odds.

Rounding out the list of NFC championship odds are the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams at +2000, the Arizona Cardinals at +2800, the Detroit Lions at +4000, the New York Giants and the Carolina Panthers at +5500, and the Washington Redskins back at +6600.

Over in the AFC it’s Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs listed as the +290 betting favorites on the conference title odds, as they look to get back to the big game and repeat as Super Bowl champions. That has Kansas City just slightly ahead of the Baltimore Ravens on the betting board, as Lamar Jackson and company are +325 second favorites to win the AFC title. The Ravens were one-and-done in last year’s playoffs, knocked out by the Tennessee Titans.

With Brady now in Tampa Bay the New England Patriots have slipped to +1100 on the AFC championship odds, just behind the division-rival Buffalo Bills who sit at +1000 on those betting futures. The Steelers join the Patriots at +1100 odds with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger expected back from injury. The Indianapolis Colts and the Cleveland Browns then round out the top tier of contenders on that board at +1200 to claim the AFC title.

The Titans then sit at +1400 on those NFL odds, with the Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos at +2200, the Las Vegas Raiders at +2600, and the Houston Texans at +2800. The Miami Dolphins then trail at +4000 on those AFC betting futures, while the New York Jets and Cincinnati Bengals sit at +5000, and the Jacksonville Jaguars round out the list at +6000.
