Football Pick of the Day (October 28th): NFL Week 8 Prop Bet
Carolina Panthers vs Green Bay Packers
8:15pm – Thursday – October 29th
For Thursday, we’re going to hit the under on the Panthers’ leading receiver. Tetairoa McMillan has put up solid numbers on the year. He has 511 yards through the air, which comes out to 85.2 yards per game. While that’s above the mark he’s looking for here, it’s largely propped up by the fact that he had 14 catches for 192 yards against the Lions. If you take that out of the equation, he’s only putting up 63.8 yards per game.
It’s not just the averages that have me on the under here. The Packers currently rank in the top ten of passing defense. Only one receiver in the last four weeks has cracked this mark and that was two-time All-Pro wide out Amon-Ra St. Brown.
It doesn’t feel like McMillan is in that same category. Plus, with a short week to prepare, I expect him to have tougher sledding when it comes to picking up some deep threats.
