UFC Fight Night: Buckley vs Malott (aka UFC Edmonton)
Start Time: 5:00 PM EST
On a fight card with a Canadian in 12 of the 13 fights, you know I’ve got to go with one of my fellow Canucks as my underdog play. But picking Chad Anheliger to beat Steven Koslow in a bantamweight fight on Saturday’s prelims is far from a homer pick.
Koslow hasn’t fought since looking really bad and dropping his UFC debut four years ago. That’s enough reason to fade him right there, especially as a betting favorite. But also, Koslow has no striking game. Anheliger should be able to obliterate him on the feet and cash as a plus-money play for us.
