College Football Pick Of The Day (October 6th): NCAA Week 6 Spread Pick

For today’s college football Week 6 pick of the day, I’m looking at the Indiana vs. Nebraska game. Indiana heads to Lincoln as a seven-point favorite against an undefeated Nebraska team. Both teams sit at 5-0. However, the profiles aren’t exactly equal.

The Hoosiers are scoring 44.2 points per game and allowing just 10.8. Their rush defense is elite, allowing just 64.4 yards per game. Meanwhile, the offense is pounding the rock very effectively with a pair of backs who have already combined for over 1,000 yards.

Nebraska has been productive as well. They’ve scored 43.6 points while allowing just 14.2. However, the schedule has been lighter. Blowouts of Ohio, Bowling Green, and North Dakota don’t fully match the schedule Indiana has had.

This line has moved down to seven and past it, and then back up to it. The market has shown some respect for Memorial Stadium. Matt Rhule hasn’t beaten a top-25 team since coaching Nebraska. Those Husker fans are feeling good, and they should be. However, the buck stops here. Hoosiers will win this by more than just the one-score game the line would have you believe, and prove to everybody that they’re still one of the best-coached teams in the NCAA. #SorryCody
