Washington Capitals vs Carolina Hurricanes

The NHL season is only a few days old, and the reigning Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes have already betrayed me. I had them winning on opening night, and they lost 1-0 in overtime to the Florida Panthers. They couldn’t even score one goal, seriously?!
Now we’re moving into “fool me once, shame on you” territory with the Hurricanes, because I’m in on them again tomorrow night at home when they host Metropolitan Division rivals the Washington Capitals. This will be the Caps’ first action of the season, and it’s a season with much promise for them, as they are projected to be a 100+ point team.
But, as mentioned, I’m going with the home side, which is one of the main reasons I’m going with them – the Canes are deadly on home ice (despite what Game 1 of this season showed). MoneyPuck has Carolina as a 65% favorite to win on Friday night, so I like the value on the Hurricanes on the moneyline.
