After an explosive UFC 331 in Los Angeles last Saturday, the UFC is back to the cozy confines of the Meta APEX this weekend for a Fight Night card. Bantamweights take center stage this coming weekend, with two 135-pounders making their UFC main event debuts. For my MMA Underdog Pick of the Week: UFC Vegas 121, I’ve got a live dog in Saturday’s co-main event. Let’s get it on, c’mon!

UFC Vegas 121: Rosas Jr. vs Barcelos
Start Time: 5:00 PM EST
Striker over grappler, almost always. If you just blindly bet that way, you’ll end up money, I’m sure (well, almost sure). So I’m taking Robert Bryczek as the dog in his middleweight bout against Rodolfo Vieira on Saturday night.
Bryczek probably came to the UFC a little late, with his best years spent in Europe. But as he showed in his fight against Brad Tavares, he is a powerful striker with fight-ending power. Add in his strong takedown defense, and I think he will keep a shopworn, grappling specialist like Rodolfo Vieira off of him and school him on the feet.
