Quietly, mostly because he plays for the not-so-good Cincinnati Reds, uber prospect Elly De La Cruz is having the best season of his young career. This includes a career-high 26 dingers, which is what we care about most.

And EDLA has been on fire lately, with six dingers in his last 10 games, the second-most in the majors during that stretch.

Seattle Mariners vs Los Angeles Angels

Start Time: 9:38 PM EST

We go from an up-and-comer to a future Hall of Fame in the Los Angeles Angels’ Mike Trout. But the old dog still has some bite left in his bat, as he’s swatted 21 balls over the fence, marking the 11th time in his career he’s topped 20 in a season.

I like Trout’s chances to go yard again tomorrow against the Seattle Mariners’ Logan Gilbert, who coughs up a lot of homers and who Trout has homered off of twice in his career.
