Monday Night Football Props + NFL Week 1 Recap Recap
Sean Green (@SeanTGreen) and Ryan Kramer (@KramerCentric) came at this one four days into a Vegas bender, Kramer running on what he called the old Vegas voice, and still tore through all of NFL Week 1 before getting to the Monday Night Football props for Broncos-Chiefs. They handed out prop bets and a pile of longshots, with a few listeners calling in along the way.

The Sunday nightcap set the tone. The Giants beat the Cowboys 28-20 as three-point home dogs, and it was not close in the way that score makes it look. New York held the ball for 36 minutes, Dallas got two possessions the entire second half, and Jackson Dart played a near-flawless game behind a run game nobody saw coming. Kramer’s takeaway needed no nuance. He is done with the Cowboys, and he said so about six times.
Then he unloaded on Adam Schefter. Schefter went on TV Sunday morning and called Malik Nabers’ status “murky,” Nabers played fine, and now Kramer wants a full boycott and is muting the account. The whole gripe is that a reporter should say what he actually knows, the way the guy at Fox did when he reported the Giants would test Nabers pregame, instead of dressing up a guess as insider information. Kramer spent the morning texting people to tell them Nabers was good to go.
The rest of the slate delivered. Carson Wentz and the Vikings ran to a 39-22 win over Green Bay after trailing by double digits, a Kramer lock, with Justin Jefferson catching two scores. The Bears hung 59 on Carolina in the highest-scoring opening week since the 1970 merger, six rushing touchdowns in the pile. C.J. Stroud fumbled away Buffalo-Houston in a 36-31 track meet, while David Montgomery found the end zone three times and cashed Sean’s rushing-yards over. The Lions edged the Saints 31-30 in a thriller that Saints fan Ian, calling in, described as the most Saints game he has ever witnessed. Out in the survivor world it was a wipeout. Roughly $2.8 million of Grandissimo entries gone and about 7,500 Circa survivor tickets dead in one Sunday.
On to the Monday Night Football props. Kramer built his card around the Denver backs and the Kansas City deep threats. He wants R.J. Harvey over 2.5 catches, since Harvey cleared it in 10 of 17 games last year and the Chiefs ranked 25th in DVOA against running backs in the pass game. He is also on Taquan Thornton over 18.5 receiving yards and likes Pat Bryan over 24.5 as a straight vibes play after Sean Payton would not stop hyping him.
Sean went the other way on the ground. Give him Kenneth Walker under 61.5 rushing yards against a Denver front that surrendered the second-fewest rushing yards to backs last season, plus Patrick Mahomes under 13.5 rushing yards. His read on Mahomes is simple. Go watch the man try to move in that knee brace. He also grabbed Nick Bonito over a quarter-sack with the Chiefs down their starting left tackle.
The longshots are where it got loud. Sean kept it to one bullet on Bo Nix at 27-1 to score the first touchdown, then rolled it into his Dege play: Bo Nix for two touchdowns at 80-1, with one book already up at 100-1 on it. Kramer sprinkled first-touchdown money on R.J. Harvey at 14-1, Adam Trautman at 40-1, Taquan Thornton at 30-1, and Xavier Worthy at 18-1. His Dege swing tied his favorite reads together, Harvey to clear 30 receiving yards and score alongside Thornton to clear 40 and score, all priced at 77-1.
Kramer’s last word was the same as his first, and it was not kind to Dallas.
