2026 NFL Bets Based On Madden 27: NFL Division Winner Predictions

2026 NFL Bets Based On Madden 27: NFL Division Winner Predictions

If you didn’t know, last year I ran simulations on NCAA26 and used those results to place some bets. It was ridiculously successful. This year, I did the same thing with NCAA27. You can find those on my author page. However, why just limit this to the NCAA? Now I’m simulating a season on EA Sports Madden NFL 27 and making bets based on the outcomes! For this round of NFL Bets, let’s predict the Super Bowl winner, using Madden! Don’t forget to check out Madden’s Super Bowl predictions as well.

2026 NFL Bets Based On Madden 27: NFL Division Winner Predictions

Yes, I’m at it again. I’m making NFL futures bets based on Madden 27. Is it a little crazy? Sure. However, I had so much luck in college football bets last year that I had to try it with Madden. Remember when we rode the Miami Hurricanes 40/1 ticket all the way to the National Championship? That was because of NCAA 26 last year. Spoiler alert! It’s the same game developers that develop Madden. So, crazy or not, there’s proof in the pudding that sometimes those number-crunching nerds and game developers know what they’re doing.

So here we are, simulating Madden through a full season. I did 15-minute quarters, turned off computer trades, and turned the injuries off. Let’s see what NFL futures it gives us in Madden’s NFL division winner predictions! For the record, this is all based on one simulated season. I’ll have another article that takes the average of multiple simulated seasons so we have more data to go off of.

AFC North

The AFC North has two teams that are near the top according to the sports books. Those teams are the Baltimore Ravens (-112) and the Cincinnati Bengals (+184). The books have less confidence in the Pittsburgh Steelers (+510) and the Cleveland Browns (+2100).

After simulating Madden 27 through the full season, the NFL division winner they predict for the AFC North is the Baltimore Ravens at -112.  They came out on top with a record of 10-7. All of the teams seemed a little disappointing as far as the record goes. The Bengals finished one game behind at 9-8. The Steelers were also 9-8, but the Bengals held the tie-breaker. The Browns rounded out the bottom with six wins.

The season was a successful one for the Ravens thanks to Lamar Jackson, who was named the MVP. Of course, they are the favorites. However, the number isn’t that juiced at -112. This is a great addition to your NFL futures bets based on Madden 27.

AFC South

The AFC South’s teams are all plus money in their division prices right now. The Texans lead at +110. While they’re plus money, they are still favorites compared to the other three teams. The Jaguars sit at +245, and the Colts are at +380. The Titans are bringing up the rear at +800.

Madden 27 has one particular team in this division finishing with the NFL’s best record at 14-3. That team had one of the best defenses in the NFL last year. They did a lot of work to retain their main pieces over the offseason.

While they didn’t have any statistical leaders, Madden 27 is predicting the AFC South division winners to be the Houston Texans. CJ Stroud is looking to take the next step. While his weapons outside of Nico Collins may be questionable, he can still get it done. They have Woody Marks and David Montgomery in the backfield and will lean on a great defense. Madden 27 says our NFL futures should be placed on the Texans at +110.

AFC East

The AFC East has a pretty close race between two of its teams. The Bills are -136, while the Patriots are +125. The Jets at +1900 and the Dolphins at +4000 don’t have much of a hope according to the sportsbooks. Last year, the Patriots won the division on their way to the Super Bowl.

It was the first time they’ve been able to wrestle the division back from the Bills in a while. However, the Bills focused on adding several pieces to their offense and defense that should help elevate their play.

The bets we’re making based on Madden 27 simulations for our division winner predictions are the Buffalo Bills at -136. They finished with the same record as the Patriots, but held the tiebreaker over them at 9-8. So far, Madden isn’t shocking us with any winners since it’s picked all favorites. Will the favorites sweep?

AFC West

For a long time, the Chiefs controlled the AFC West. With Patrick Mahomes returning, they’re the current favorites to win at +160. They are trailed closely by the Chargers at +190. The Broncos aren’t all that far behind at +225, while the Raiders are way in the back at +2000.

The Broncos won the division last year with a 14-3 record. The Chargers placed second. The Chiefs struggled and then lost Mahomes to a knee injury and placed third. The Raiders were fourth. However, the Raiders have made a ton of changes to their coaching and roster.

Predicting the division winners for the 2026 season, Madden 27 has the Denver Broncos winning the division at 12-5. They added Jaylen Waddle in the offseason and retained some of their key defenders. In fact, Madden had so much faith in the Broncos that they made the Super Bowl after their deep playoff run.

NFC North

Last year, the NFC North flipped with the Bears winning the North. The Packers came in second, the Vikings in third, and the Lions fell to fourth place. This year, the Lions are back as favorites at +170. The Packers are slotted in the second spot at +225. The defending NFC North champion Bears are at +305, while the Vikings are at +510.

The Lions’ main issue last year was health. They had terrible injury luck, especially on defense. The defense should be healthier this year. The offense brought in new offensive coordinator Drew Petzing. It’ll be interesting to see what he brings to the table for the offense.

The Packers didn’t make many changes. In fact, they lost a good part of their production. The Bears added more speed to their defense while returning the majority of their offense. The Vikings added Kyler Murray to try and spark the offense.

Finishing 11-6, Madden’s prediction of the division winner is the Chicago Bears. Even though they’re third in the odds at +305, they are carrying a lot of momentum from last year. Ben Johnson knows they are the number one regression candidate and will be prepared for all the challenges.

NFC South

The NFC South was a mixed bag last year with three teams finishing with the same record. The Panthers held the tiebreaker and won the division. This year, the Bucs are the favorites at +170. They’re trailed by the Saints at +270, the Panthers at +310, and the Falcons at +400.

The Bucs lost Mike Evans in the offseason. Otherwise, they return the majority of their defense. The Saints enter their second year with Kellen Moore as coach and Tyler Shough as quarterback. The Panthers are the defending champions and added a good amount of talent on their defense. Meanwhile, the Falcons have a new coach and brought in Tua Tagovailoa.

After simulating Madden for a full season, the division winner prediction is the Atlanta Falcons at +400. On the legs of Bijan Robinson and the talent of Drake London and Kyle Pitts, Tua succeeds in getting them their division after a 11-6 record.

NFC East

The NFC East rarely has a repeat winner. However, the Eagles have started to create a pattern of winning it. They’re the favorites at +120. The Cowboys are behind them at +205. The Commanders are sitting at +500, while the Giants are at the end at +600.

Personally, I think the Eagles are going to regress a little. It’s not just losing AJ Brown and their current receivers dealing with hamstring issues. Their offensive line is going to function a little differently, and their long-time offensive line coach is now gone. The Cowboys worked on upgrading one of the league’s worst defenses from last year. The Commanders hope Jayden Daniels can stay healthy. Meanwhile, the Giants are healthy again and enter a new era under Harbaugh.

Looking at bets based on Madden 27 for predicting division winners, they have the Eagles repeating as division winners at 12-5.

NFC West

The NFC West is one of the best divisions in football. They had three playoff teams last year, two NFC Championship teams, and the Seahawks won the Super Bowl. This year, the Rams open up as favorites at -105 after adding Trent McDuffie and Myles Garrett on defense.

They’re trailed by the defending champions, the Seahawks, at +215. The often-injured 49ers are sitting at +305, while the Cardinals hold the worst division price in all divisions at +10000. After simulating one season, Madden predicts the division winner will be the Seattle Seahawks at +215.

They finished with an 11-6 record. Jaxon Smith-Njigba won Offensive Player of the Year, and Demarcus Lawrence led the league in sacks. It will be an impressive feat if the Seahawks can repeat their success from last year after losing some pieces on defense as well as offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak.

Just for the record, if you want to make a real NFL futures bet based on Madden, all eight of their winners parlayed together come in at +314495, or 3145/1. A small $5 bet would pay you $15,729.75.
