Colorado Rockies vs St. Louis Cardinals
Start Time: 8:15 PM EST
The Colorado Rockies and the St. Louis Cardinals have yet to play each other this season, but that changes tomorrow night in St. Louis, as the teams meet up to start a three-game series. Which makes the Cardinals’ 57-58 record thus far more impressive considering they haven’t had the opportunity to beat up on the Rockies yet.
You see, the Colorado Rockies aren’t very good at this baseball thing. The Rockies’ 45-70 record is the third-worst in the major leagues, and advanced stats rank them the second-worst team in the league. And the news gets worse – Colorado has the worst road record in the league at 18-38, which matters since tomorrow’s game is in Missouri.
If all that still isn’t enough to favor the Cards, Ryan Feltner is starting on the bump for the visitors on Friday, he of a 5.75 ERA who has allowed 21 earned runs over his past 17.2 innings. Despite all this, we’re still getting a playable moneyline on the Cardinals, making St. Louis my best bet for Friday.
