The UFC train rolls on. UFC Oklahoma City was a fairly exciting card (I went 11-1, thank you very much), and the UFC hopes for the same this weekend in Abu Dhabi. For my MMA Prop Play of the Week: UFC Abu Dhabi, I’ve got a knockout play from the prelims. Let’s get it on, c’mon!

UFC Fight Night: Ankalaev vs Gusko (aka UFC Abu Dhabi)

I’ve hit my UFC prop play five weeks running now, so I’m feeling the pressure to nail another winner this week. I think I’ve found one for a prelim welterweight fight between Santiago Ponzinibbio and Sam Patterson.
Ponzinibbio is going to be turning 40 later this year and has been knocked out five times in his career, including his last fight. Patterson is the much younger (by 10 years), much longer (five-inch reach advantage) fighter in the matchup, and I think he’ll use his length and speed advantage to put a beating on The Ponz, eventually finishing him via strikes. Patterson is also a strong grappler, so a takedown and a ground and pound win is in play as well.
