In theory, a home run prop bet on the Toronto Blue Jays Vladimir Guerrero Jr shouldn’t be much of a stretch. The man is one of the top-paid players in the game, and he led the majors in homers in 2021 with 48.

But the dirty secret is Vladdy really isn’t a power hitter. Maybe it’s not a secret – he has only four homers this season. However, he has gone yard once in only eight career at-bats against tomorrow’s Texas Rangers starter, Mackenzie Gore, so I’m betting on him.

Chicago Cubs vs New York Mets

For the third straight day, we’re sticking around Flushing for the Chicago Cubs vs the New York Mets. And, for the third straight day, I’m betting on a Cubs batter.

Thursday’s choice would be Ian Happ, who has 16 homers this season. He also has four career dingers against Freddy Peralta, who is starting tomorrow for the home side.
